Ellie graduated from Newcastle University with a Masters in Chemical Engineering, and began her professional career into the heat networks industry with FairHeat. After completing the FairHeat graduate scheme in 2021, she now assumes a key role as a Consulting Engineer within the Quality Assurance Team, predominantly focussing on optimising heat network design by providing client support all the way through to delivery and on-site implementation for residential developments that are in planning, design and construction phases.

Ellie is particularly passionate about guiding the transition from traditional gas and CHP heat network systems through to low carbon heat generation alternatives, which will be key in the push towards decarbonising the UK and meeting net zero targets.

Ellie is dedicated to achieving sustainable, high-efficiency heat networks that deliver reliable and low-cost heating solutions for residents, and is excited by the challenges that the rapidly changing sector will bring over the coming years.
