Shawn is Director of Sustainability at Brookbanks, with a strong background in decarbonising the built environment. He is highly competent and experienced in the principles of sustainable building design, whilst offering practical, innovative and deliverable sustainability strategies and solutions.

Shawn has worked in the industry for over 26 years, and is an expert in all aspects of sustainable design, energy reduction strategies and engineering and the transition to low carbon heating with heat pumps and district heating amongst others. He initially trained as a Physicist, before becoming a Chartered Building Services Engineer and later also trained as a Building Surveyor to gain an understanding of the whole built environment.
