Blane Judd is the Executive Director of BLTK Consulting, where he supports businesses in developing and managing strategic development. With over 45 years of experience across sectors including Power, Utility, Building Services Engineering, and Rail Transport, he brings a wealth of expertise to his work.

Blane holds the part-time position of Chief Executive of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE), is a NED for nima (formerly the UK BIM Alliance), and chairs GEL 50, a BSI group focused on Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) systems. He advocates for LVDC as a sustainable energy source in buildings and is currently collaborating with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on a related project.

His international contributions to public health earned him a Fellowship of City and Guilds. Blane is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), CIBSE, Higher Education Academy (HEA), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), where he served as Chief Executive and led the successful petitioning for its Royal Charter.

He is a former Non-Executive Director (NED) and advisor to Parliament on the estate-wide engineering infrastructure resilience project. He also served as a Teaching Fellow at Aston University.
